A Beatle's Fans Experience

About The Rain Drops...

We grew up loving the Beatles. On October 13, 2006 four of us went to see “Rain, The Beatles Experience” at the Hippodrome in Baltimore, Md.

Having seen many Beatle tribute groups, we were looking forward to another evening of great music and fun. What we saw, was the most impressive and perfect recreation of our beloved Beatles EVER!

We were hooked, and organized a fan club. We decided on the name Rain Drops. In less than two years we have been to six concerts and grown to over 50 members.

I guess you could call us “groupies” We have a set outfit that we wear to the shows...all of us dress in our black Rain Drop vest, which says Rain Rocks Our World and has our names monogrammed on the fronts. Above the names are silver stars, every time you go to a show you earn a new star. We make pins, and badges and adorn our vests with purchased Beatle buttons. We wear white shirts and jeans or black pants with our vests

We travel by limo or bus to as many concerts as we can get to. Usually within 150-200 miles of our home. We are based on the Eastern shore of Maryland. We arrive at the concerts with light sticks, noise makers, bells, flags, banners, and signs! We sing dance and applaud to the timeless sounds of Beatle music, performed without flaw by Rain.

To our surprise and delight, and with as many people as Rain Entertains, They always acknowledge our presence-They are very special and truly appreciate their fans, For us to attend a show, it requires a group effort…We have meetings to plan and make props .We have costume designers and seamstresses, people in charge of communication, a media tech, a person designing a web page, and everyone shares the passion for Rain! We try to do something new for each concert.

Our main objective is seeing Rain as much as possible and spreading the word about them to everyone we meet. We have fun and so encourage fans every where to join in!!

We are all about honoring Rain and thanking them for keeping the Beatle’s music alive.

Beatles and Rain forever!

RAIN ROCKS OUR WORLD!

About Rain..."A Tribute to the Beatles...

Rain is without doubt the very best reproduction of the original Beatles. Both in sight, sound, actions, and personalities. They do 5 costume changes during the show and all of their work is done by them.......

There are other acts who respectfully attempt to replicate a subset of the Beatles music, but only RAIN can perform the full range of the Beatles discography live onstage, including the most complex and challenging songs that the Beatles themselves recorded in the studios but never performed for an audience. No other rendition of the Fab Four's music comes close to this level of performance, which has taken years of mastery and attention to detail that is unmatched. From the early days of their appearance on the Ed Sullivan show in 1964, through the Sgt. Pepper era and on to the Abbey Road years, RAIN's performance captures it all flawlessly.

Rain has been on CBS Network television and have preformed in Liverpool. We invite you to visit the Rain web site and join the forum. Click link below

Why the Beatle's were so great..

.

Their creativity was definitely a major part of their success. Their willingness to experiment with their music set a high standard for other groups that none could match. To go from Love Me Do and She Loves You to Strawberry Fields Forever and I Am The Walrus was an incredible leap forward for them in terms of both lyrics and music.

Their success was due to their incredible musical talent, especially the songwriting. Mostly by John and Paul. That's not to slight George who we all know contributed such classic songs as Something and Here Comes The Sun. And While my guitar gently weeps, and a whole lot more. Ringo was so lovable, a great drummer and contributed a lot of fun songs as well like Octopuse's garden. Of course the fact that John, Paul, and George were great singers and all the members of the group had great personalities also contributed to their great success. Paul was cute, John was edgy, George was mysterious, and Ringo was lovable. But it will be the songs that will remind future generations of that great and immortal band known as The Beatles!
